Patty, a 5-year-old girl in the Philippines, and her family were struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic as her mother couldn't work and her father, a construction worker, was unable to earn a living. Patty was inspired by her brother Vince, who became a sponsored child with World Vision and received assistance to go to school. When she was also sponsored, she was thrilled to have the opportunity to go to school.
